A top 10 should tell you why.
Our guides combine documented evidence with editorial judgment. They are a snapshot of our research at the time of publication, not a permanent verdict.
Five signals. A wider view.
Social conversation · 25%
Relevant discussion across available social platforms, checked for context and credible engagement. Popularity alone does not establish quality.
Online reviews · 30%
Review themes, recency, volume and consistency across the sources available to us.
Foot traffic · 15%
Only attributable visit data or observations with a stated source and date. We do not infer visits from likes or review counts.
Online presence · 15%
Accuracy, useful information, accessibility and clarity across the business’s website and profiles.
Ease of booking or ordering · 15%
The documented steps to make a booking, place an order or plan a visit. We distinguish a website check from a completed transaction.
Missing data stays missing.
A missing signal is labelled unavailable and excluded from the signal score. Scores are weighted over available signals, so different evidence coverage limits comparability. Each guide explains any category-specific criteria and the reason for its final order. An editorial position is not an average star rating.
Sources, dates and updates.
Each entry includes evidence notes, source links and a review date. New editions use dated URLs. We do not promise a fixed reranking schedule; corrections and substantive updates carry a revised update date. Automated social data collection is not currently connected; research is entered and reviewed by editors.
